EDitor's NOTICE: Suspension of Posting Privileges for This Company and it's Principals
Consumer complaints supports the right of consumers to air complaints and of business owners and principals to be allowed the privilege of responding openly to those complaints. The ultimate goal of this site is consumer complaint resolution. That goal is why consumer complaints exists today.
The principals of Federated Financial have chosen to attack the EDitor and staff of consumer complaints with threats of physical harm and other abusive tactics, such as an Internet-wide smear campaign and contacting other businesses to encourage them to file lawsuits against consumer complaints. Physical evidence exists which proves they do not deny that death threats were made and that they posted at least ONE bogus report. Based on those threats the decision was made over two years ago to suspend posting/rebuttal privileges for Federated Financial and its principals until further notice.
Consumer complaints regrets having to make this decision. It is a matter of site policy to ban those who participate in these behaviors, as to continue to tolerate this would undermine the purpose of this site. Attacks against this site and staff do nothing to further the goal of consumer problem resolution and only devour time and resources, which are urgently needed elsewhere if consumer complaints is to achieve its goal of helping consumers.
Legitimate consumer complaints and insider information about this company will still be accepted, as always.
Consumer complaints hopes for a resolution to this situation soon, at which time the posting privilege suspension may be lifted from this company.

I was fairly in debt and looking for a way out when I received an e-mail from Federated Financial. I decided to give it a try. The person I contacted told me they could help, they would lower my interest rates and help me pay off my debt in 2 years, all I had to do was pay a deposit of $500.00 and pay $500.00 a month. I thought great and got started.
After a year of using the service my interest rates in some cases have risen due to the fact that my creditors were not paid on time. Often times being passed over for a month. Late charges coming in every time. I contacted them stating my problem twice, twice they told me the creditors should not be doing this and that they would take care of it. So I got fed up.
After working alot of hours and pulling in some cash from overtime I've paid off enough of my own debt and canceled the service. When I canceled the person I spoke with said there was no record of my calling to report the late payments... Well I lost the $500 dollar deposit but at least now I can be sure my creditors are paid on time.
This service may work for some. For those great. Just didn't work for me and I've taken hits to my credit report from the late payments.
I wasn't even going to say anything until I read the last post and responce to it.
Take care, and thanks for your time.
