Loan was too good to be true

On June 13, I was contacted by Linksys Lending Group for a loan I applied for online. I was told by Mr. Johnson that I was approved for the loan, but needed send $750 to secure the loan with an insurance company. Because I needed the money right away I thought my prayers had been answered and went to Western Union to send the money to Carl Brown in Canada to be picked up in minutes.

I was told once they received the money, the loan would be deposited into my account within an hour. The money was not there so I called Mr. Johnson back. He told me because it was Friday and the end of the day I would have to wait until Monday. When Monday came, I was told I had to send $500 more because the $750 was not enough. Again because I needed the money I sent the $750. I should have known then the loan was a rip off.

Carl Brown picked up the money again, and again the money was not on my account. Because I needed the money to help pay my rent and never received it, I was evicted. I have been contactingthe company since then and talked with Joshua. He told me the loan was not a ripp off and I would have the money the next day. This was one week ago, and now the phone just rings and when I dial the other contact number, the voicemail picks up.

I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and in the status of my complaint, the company is unable to be located. I should have done more research on this company, but when you are in a bind and you need money on a hurry, you never think something like this would happen to you.
