Filed some motion about credit card

Ok here's where it begins, started getting more and more legal looking stuff from attorneys, saying this and that, that i owe on old credit card. During this time my father died, mom was sick (cancer), and at 70 something couldn't let her there alone. Moved back home, my clothes, couple cd players and cd, my junker car, 88 dodge.
This last tuesday the sheriff guys show up at her house, where of staying, knock on the door, can we come in, what are you to do, say no, hand me papers, saying these acc lcc, are doing something, asking how many rooms are in her house, who owns what, its her house, i moved
back, because she was sick. Acting like they can sell whatever they want. Went to an attorney today, said to pull my credit report, had cards i never heard of, wrong date of birth etc.
Help, my mom's a reck now, thinking they will come back, sell what's in her house, and stuff.
Any advice etc will help
