Ripoff, mistreated and ripped off, tricked and lied to us

In late October I got a phone call from Kindra Duckworth, operator # 483 telling me all about how Freedom Resources could help me, get my credit history repaired, and obtain a new credit card.

I listened to her story, which was, in looking back, was certainly "too good to be true". Because I would like to get a new lease on life with a fresh start, I bought the story, gave them my bank account number, and was told that a draft for $221.95 would be presented to my savings account on November 14th. I spoke with Ms. Duckworths supervisor, Matt, and was assured that Freedom Resources would assist me in not only getting a credit card, but also help me with finding financing when I wanted to purchase either a home, or automobile.
I was given a tracking number, the companies telephone number, and business hours.

By November 26th, I was beginning to get suspicious. I placed a call to the number I was given, and after 11 minutes of being on "hold" my call was disconnected. I called back, and after another fifteen minutes, I was told that my "information package, and new credit card" would be arriving in about two weeks.

I searched and searched the internet, looking for Freedom Resources. Finally, after a telephone call to my bank (which is 500 miles from where I live) I got the name of the company who presented the draft... Lenox Capital. Typing this name into the search engine, led me to this website.

I sent a link to my best-friend, who is also an employee at the credit union I bank with. Thanks to the information I've gleaned from complaint, I may be able to retrieve at least some of my money!
I work a minimum-wage job, which I do not even like, out in the middle of no-where. The money this Lenox Capital / Freedom Resources scammed from me was a weeks wages. I really feel foolish.
