Union Workers Credit Services
Obviously fraudulent "credit card" "service" charges money

I received a letter for a "preapproved" Platinum Card membership from Union Workers Credit Services. The very first thing that struck me is that I would get a letter from a Union Workers Service when I work at Wal-Mart, the biggest anti-union business in the world.

Obviously they knew nothing about me... including the fact that I do have a credit card.

Second, I would NEVER pay a fee for a credit card I knew about much less one I don't know about. Their notice about its being refundable once you use the card (at least I think that's what it means) is in such smallprint that you can't see it. I would think that would be a benefit. Where do these people think they're coming from?

The last thing I noticed is that most letters are from the western part of the country. I live in the urban northeast.
