The Mortgage Guys
Liars who promise to help you get a house then discriminate against you so you don't get it

Business & Finance

We were interested in buying a house list4lesswi was selling. The financier Ken, from Fannie Mae or the mortgage guys, said he'd do every thing he could to help us buy it.

The woman selling the house, Jen, said we could come look at it, after coming over to our house to talk to us about it. The following day she called to say she'd come pick us up so we didn't have to walk over.

She called again to say she couldn't find the keys or the previous owners didn't give them to her so she could get in. She said she'd call back, but never did, and we waited all day for her to. We never did get to see the house, and we didn't hear from Ken or Jen again.

Then when we called Jen later about the house she said Ken was just going to call us. Sure. Then when we called Ken, he said the owners decided not to sell the house after all. But it was still for sale after that and eventually had an accepted offer.

That was really nice of Jen to tell us she couldn't find the keys to it, and for that Ken to tell us the owners decided not to sell, and for neither one of them to ever get back to us, knowing how much we liked the house, when it clearly had been for sale all that time.

Nice Jen found the keys to the house so she could show it to the people who made an accepted offer on it and got to buy it, when we never even got to look at it, and we were interested in it first, knowing our situation, which we are still going through. Talk about unfairness and discrimination.
