What goes on behind closed doors

I worked for Mega for eleven months. I was an acheiver who went through stacks of old leads, I cold called, I was working the phones two days a week, to the tune of almost 200 calls a day. I started to win contests, but I was always taking loans from the agency owner because my business was turned down (I read and understood the risk books, et. Al.) and they told me to keep writing and eventually the money would come. So, I busted my ass for six months, was "allowed" the "privelege" of going to the homecoming in Dallas, Tx and I thought it was great. I was the number 7 agent in the country. Then the agency owner told me that I "Was almost in the inner circle"... What the hell is that?

So, after I really started rolling, my customers began to call. Mega was not paying for their "covered" services. I had five high dollar customers say that Mega was not doing what they promised. I told them to cancel and that was the day I started looking for another career. I gave up 11K in stocks and 3 grand in renewals every six months. It hurt, but my reputation was at stake.

I was called in after ten months to the state department of insurance for an investigation. I was deposed for three hours and then let go. All that happened was that Mega was slapped on the hand and they get to go on practicing. It is funny, there is an old saying "I can go three days without eating, but I cannot pass a day without a good justification". That is what Mega is, they justify and rationalize all of the agents, themselves and they really mislead their customers. I would "pass" on their health and life plans... Your life or health may depend on it.
