First Equity Card
Evidently They Are Scam Artists

I applied online and received a First Equity card, which I had been led to believe would be at 10% interest; when the card got here, I looked at the back of the paperwork and saw that I would instead be charged at 23%. I immediately called the number on the back of the card and cancelled it, then tossed it in the waste can. I have since read all sorts of bad reports about the company, gouging customers with huge cash fees, and about how others had this same bait and switch pulled on them with the interest.

I never used the card, but sadly, many people who have reported them on this site have. I intend to report them to my state's attorney general, even though I was luckily able to cancel the card before using it.

I have no idea how people like this can stay in business. The "boys on the corner" give better interest and they get tossed in jail for their practices.

Tell all your friends and aquaintences to stay away from this company, and if you have received a card from this company, or have applied for one, I suggest you cancel it.
