I paid for a financial plan package. Once I received their recommendations I was uncomfortable and confused by what they were suggesting I do "for my financial success."

I signed up for financial services and paid $5592. When I received their package, several days later, I was not comfortable with what they were proposing for my financial plan. It was very complicated and confusing.
What they sent me, for my $5592, were generic application forms to fill out for complicated financial products and copies of information I had previously paid for.

I called right away and several people there, including the president of the comapny, and told them ""I would like a refund because what they were proposing for me to do was much more complicated that I was led to believe and I was would not be doing going ahead with their recommendations."

Their responses were "We do not give refunds" and " Maybe we can pro-rate your payments and credit that toward our other services." I told them I would not use their other services" and the response again was "We do not give refunds."
