Charged NSF fees on every check after one overdraft

In the few months that I have been with BB&T, they have charged me so much in NSF fees. Having been in the banking business for over 25 years, I have never seen a bank charge the way that they do. One check can come in to overdraw your account, and the next thing you see is that they charge you for every check that comes in.

I have talked to everyone from the branch to the call center, and I get nowhere. Bank employees have told me that I should not write checks unless I have the money in my account. My reply was: stop charging me and I would have the money. Now every week they charge me NSF fees.

I work very hard for my paycheck, but they have put me into a position now where I never have enough money to cover any bills anymore. Who can help all of the people affected by BB&T ripoffs? The employees at the Elkridge, Md. branch make me feel like I am some kind of criminal.

They offer no help, they just keep taking and charging fees.
