Another phone scam via AT&T

AT&T has chose to associate up with OAN Companies, which operates a fraud operation. I had been getting charged about $13 monthly for 5 weeks. After I named to ask, the rude individual about the telephone, who named herself Tim, stated I'd registered due to their providers via the web. I advised him I'd not, and he offered me a title of somebody who presumably registered for that support, utilizing my house telephone number. It was not my title, or that of anybody I understand. He explained their "confirmation" procedure entails requesting the individual to confirm they're more than 18, and confirm they're approved to create purchase the support. That's, they ostensibly request the individual if they're doing fraud, and, when they claim no, that's adequate for OAN. I understand there are lots of fraud artists available, but why does AT&T appear to happily connect together?
