GIBSON TRUST ripoff dead Beat

I was horrified when I came across this website. I was attempting to get into GibsonTrusts website to complain about never getting through and for noone returning calls. Now I see why. Our story is identical to many of the others I have read and you will read. We were attempting to clean up our credit, my husband and I had spent 2 years paying on our credit cards to get the balances down before we were planning on purchasing a home. We had researched and met with a couple of local debt management companies and our creditors to find out who was trustworthy.

For one reason or another we didn't like somthing in the local debt companies contracts and somehow, my husband was refered to Gibson Trust, Inc. We decided to go with them due to their professionalism and they were extremely convincing that we would have no problems. Foolishly enough we signed with Gibson Trust in September.in August asking them to refund late fees accrued and our first initial payment back, we sent our contract cancellation letter.in less than a year, we had attached to that letter proof of 10 plus copies of credit card statements showing late fees and letters from our credit card companies asking if we were still with debt management because they had not received payment within the terms of the contract proposal.

I spent hundreds of dollars to get our accounts back on track, which have no doubtedly put our other bills in a bind. We have spent hours also making hundreds of phone calls probably 98% of which were left to unanswered voicemails the other 2%, we may have gotten the operator only for her to put us on hold or to a lost transfer. If either one of us did get through they treated us like we were the only one having problems and they would check on the situation and get back with us.

Neither one of us received one return call from any of the Customer Service staff. We have spent hours sending unanswered e-mails, faxed statements/letters from our creditors to securely finding out now through this website along with our own judgement we will have to legally take action against these incomptent so called debt managers. Our credit is ruined we are in the process of purchasing a home but thankfully we have found a mortgage company that will work with us only due to us having every statement/letter from creditors as proof of Gibson Trusts' incompetence not ours. Hopefully, you will not think you could be different that they won't ruin you. They will.

No matter how good it sounds don't sign with this company, we are scarred for ever I would not refer any debt management company to anyone, they have ruined us. Our two years of trying to keep our credit in a good standing took them only 1 month to begin ruining. If you think you are over your head in debt and they say they will help, believe them, they will help take your money and ruin your credit if not more.
