Top Dot Mortgage
The good old bait and switch Calabasa

Business & Finance

Like many other unfortunate customers that have encountered the sharks of the mortgage companies, I encountered this one, when my family needed help the most. This company and it's "sales" employees like to get you into a mortgage application as soon as possible, eliminating any chance that you will go with someone else by scheduling an appraisal almost the first day. Of course this appraisal is out of your pocket, but goes to them. While they are waiting on the appraisal, they ping your credit about 8 times, effectively lowering your score, enabling them to boost your interest rate if you are lucky enough to get a mortgage, and also eliminating you and your appraisal fees if you aren't a perfect FICA score.By going to this company and their pinging my credit score 8 times, i dropped over 100 points off my FICA. How do i know this... I checked my score before i even began the process and monitored who was checking my credit as I went. This people are sheisters, and are only out for one thing... Your money and the fees they get from processing your "perfect" application.
