False Credit Card Offer consumer fraud ripoff

I too was sent a certificate in the mail stating I was approved for a credit card with a $5000 credit line.

I sent my check for $49 for them to rush the card to me on October 18th. Last night after checking my account to see if the check had cleared yet (thank God it hadn't) my boyfriend wondered to me if maybe this whole thing wasn't a scam.

To get to the point, I'm glad he spoke up because I was absolutely amazed at the number of complaints against this company. I IMMEDIATELY called my bank and put a stop pay on the check.

So now instead of being out $49, I'm only out $28 to stop those bastards from ripping me off completely.
