Fraudulent ripoff business

I am grateful that I was wise enough to check out this company via the Better Business Bureau. No such company existed in their National Database; however I was referred to an additional BBB database in Clearwater, Florida just to ensure that the company was non-existent. Florida's BBB database does not have such a company. I therefore searched the web and included the name of Robert Stevens, only to find that this individual's name is associated with another scam.

The letter (Acceptance Certificate) states that you have been approved for a platinum card with an approval credit limit of $5,000.00. The catch is that you are requested to pay a standard processing and delivery fee of $45.00; $49.00 if you want RUSH processing and delivery. It also offers 0% financing for the first year, and after the first year expires, the APR charged will be 14.49%. Don't fall for this credit scam!
