Decrease credit line after purchasing Wilmington dallas

I went through the same thing with Washington Mutual Credit Card Services. I had a credit line of 1500.00 made a payment on it and everything. Was traveling out of town that same weekend. Even reserved my hotel on it at the Marriott. When I checked in I had to of course show the same card since I used it to reserve and when they went to swipe it, it was declined. I was sooooo embarrassed and shocked. I called them immediately thinking I must forgot to activate it. Someone foreign of course answered the phone and couldn't understand a thing I was saying. So not only was I embarrassed but now frustrated. So they went on trying to explain that my credit line had been decreased. I said hold up that can't be possible. I just made a payment and checked my balance just before I left. I'm over 400 miles away from home and the only thing they can tell me is not only is my account now over the limit but also there is nothing they can do for me, I told them my situation and explained everything to them and asked them what was I suppose to do now and they continue to say there is nothing else we can do for you. Talking about somebody furious I immediately hung up. I scrambled through my purse and luckly, I had my CAPITAL ONE card on me and needless to say—I will no longer be dealing with Washington Mutual Credit Cards.
