In the world we expect to ask simple questions and get at least the answer or more, where big companies doing business with the public are concerned.

I was inside the Bank and doing a withdrawl from my checking account. I had been in the day before to deposit a 182.50 check into my checking. At the same time I was made aware that I had been pulled into default from an overdraft fee. I was shocked. I said I signed up for a savings account to protect myself from that problem and had always kept at least $300 dollars in savings. Well, they said we can't do anything for you ma'am because when you signed up we told you and we gave you it in writing. With a refund of $40 dollars they took the entire 182.50 and recovered their fees for overdrafting. I took my remaining money from both accounts and quit the bank.

I tried to resolve this by using the phone and was treated like an idiot. That customers are to be respected is unheard of and not happening today. People on the phone don't wait to understand, they do not care and I felt humiliated, not to mention now desperate. I will NEVER, EVER, use the bank again for money matters.

I know that this is not me alone. There are other people who try to bring their right case before someone to hear and when you're right and they're not and you get to the point faster than them, they don't want to know, they don't want you to know more than them. So, suggestion, don't ever try to beat them to the point, you will be shot down, wasted time with and less than you came to them when you leave. I guarantee you. But you know that now by now. More of you absolutely need to write and complain to the authorities like the newspaper and the television news stations and say you are not going to take this anymore. It is only up to you to change, they don't have to change and you know it. The bank is there but it can always be whipped, but unless more of people like you and me complain to the right people, NOT the bank people either, then there will just go on and on and on.

If I am a single woman and still struggling to keep an account with a large bank don't you think I am someone to be heard? Or am I not AS IMPORTANT as the other person, who has a marriage and a home? How am I supposed to thrive if I am paying the bank to hold my money? It's not right!

I am going now to keep a safe in my home, because NO ONE has to be treated like this.
