Fraudulent Charges to Discover Card - will not cancel monthly charges of $11.95

Mighty Net Inc, also known as CreditReport.com, is charging my Discover Card by $11.95 monthly. I called their support line, which by the way is located in Panama City, Panama, who directed me to call their "Dispute Resolution Department". The situation was that I had them look up the credit card number, then they advised me they could not cancel the charges. So I called their "Dispute Resolution Department" — it happened to be TransUnion, the credit reporting agency. I went through this cycle 4 times to see if I got a different answer, and I did not, it's clearly standard practice to get people off the phone and hope they "give up" and surrender to the monthly charges.

Talking with the TransUnion rep, I was advised they DO get a lot calls, but have nothing to do with CreditReports.com.

I put the charges in dispute with Discover Card, but they can't block these jerks from charging my card in the future. I certainly don't mind making them incur a $25.00 charge back fee for each charge, but it's the hassle of doing it. I simply don't want to give up a card I've had since 1989 and am willing to fight these a*les to keep it.

They're located in Canoga Park California, after researching the company on business sites on the Internet and it may be worthy of filing a criminal complaint for fraud with the local DA if enough people come forward.
