Nice try, but no thanks

I applied for a personal loan from a reputable bank in my area and received a call from "Norman Lowery" stating I was approved for a personal loan for $5000. I called the phone # he left and he said he had gotten my information from an entity I applied a loan from. He had all of my information and he faxed the contract to me. The rest is just like the other situations on ripoff, asking for a collateral. I checked on line for this company and tried to find the address listed on the cover sheet to no avail. So watch out. If you need money fast, it seems like a better idea to go for a payday advance than these not so smart cons.
