This is a scam, do not send them money, there is no loan!

I applied for a personal loan through credit.com, the next day I received a call from Edward Field from Fremont lending group. I was told that my loan was approved by one of their lenders, but they wanted an initial deposit of my first five months of payments in order to secure my loan. I received my loan papers and sent them back, then was given three choices on how to pay my deposit of 925 dollars, the "fastest" way to receive the funds was to send a person to person money gram, that way I could have my funds in 24 hours. After making the transfer, Mr Field called and wanted the reference number for the transaction and assured me the funds would be available the next day and would be contacted about payment arrangements.

The next day there was no deposit made. Calling Edward Filed again, i was informed that there was an issue with my account, my credit was poor and they needed an additional 925 dollars to secure the loan.By this time I had figured out the scam and did not send the money, and demanded a refund of the first deposit, which "would be mailed their next billing cycle on february 22nd." When asking to speak to his supervisor, there was no one, not even the ceo of the company.

I contacted overland park police, there is no address that they listed.

They will send legitimate looking loan forms, Mr Field uses all sorts of reasoning, including when confronted about the internet complaint, he said, we are working on a rebutal to that complaint. Do Not Send Any Money, there is no loan!
