Mod Squad - NOT! No help, ripoff

We ran into financial difficulties and fell behind on our mortgage with EMC. I called to the "Mod Squad" to see if they can help us out. We were told that our mortgage could not be modified, but we can increase your payments for 12 months so that you can catch up! That was an increase of $500.00/month.

Okay, now tell me - you can't pay the original mortgage amount and are behind, but you sure can add $500.00/month and make it work. How helpful is that?

Their "mod squad" is just a facade to help them look better after all the problems people are having with them

Dont use them.
