Threatening, disclosing personal information to a third party illegally

I received a phone call from my 24 year daughter informing me that Brenda Blair of Legal Mediation Practice had left a detailed message on her voice mail regarding an outstanding debt I owe with Allied Cash. (clearly not legal to disclose my personal info to an outside source) I called Ms. Blair back, who informed me that she would give me 2 hours to clear the balance that was due on this account. I informed her that was not possible, as I am currently unemployed, though actively seeking employment. She stated that did not matter and that she was going to change my account status to "customer refusal to pay."

Since I am not an idiot and knew I was being recorded, I corrected her asserting that was not what I had stated, and I have not refused to pay anything. I further stated I was unable to do anything within her two hour time limit. I then requested that she send me documentation of her payment demand and confirmation that she has the right to make such a demand of me since I do not know who she or her company is. She stated that she wasn't going to send me anything, accused me of intentional check fraud, told me to contact an attorney, said "good luck" and hung up on me.

I am not disputing the claim. This is the first time I have been unemployed and and in such bad shape financially. However, just because I owe a debt does not mean that I am going to sit back and allow anyone to violate my right as a consumer or my right to privacy.
