Rogue collection agency, re-ages old accounts, violates FDCPA regs., files civil suit without validating debt, harassing, threatening, rude, unprofessional

Unifund is trying to collect on a debt that is almost 20 years old. I have disputed the debt and was never given any proof or validation of the debt. Unifund went ahead and pursued legal action against me by filing a civil suit through their attorney. They have sent a sheriff to my home approximately 8 times. Conveniently, nobody was home each time. One night he came around 10PM. My neighbors have seen the sheriff each time. This is humiliating and has caused me and family much grief, distress, and embarrassment. Unifund has violated FDCPA regulations, has not followed the Statute of Limitations, and has caused us much stress and anxiety. I am personally looking to sue them in a class action suit. I am currently seeking legal action against them. I have also just sent complaints to the OH Bar Association and the Attorney General, as well as the Better Business Bureau. I want to sue them for punitive damages. They do not follow the rules boys. It is time to stand up for our rights and fight back!!!
