Misled us, told us not to contact the IRS, We sent $500.00. IRS said these companies make you think they're helping you but they are really making money off your financial misery and making it worse

I contacted the office of Roni Deutch in early January. I have been disabled and had not paid taxes in quite some time. My bank account was frozen. I sent an e mail and they called back immediately. I spoke with someone named Robert.

His first words were we need to get the levy removed immediately. That's priority. I had him contact my husband Richard Poates, since I have been very ill. He told my husband if he sent $500.00 the levy would be lifted in 2-3 weeks. They insinuated the entire time that if we paid them 2500 dollars all would be taken care of by them and they would compromise with the IRS on how much if any to take out.

Always kind and caring until we paid the $500. I spoke with another man besides Robert after the company received the money. I asked when the levy would be removed. He said I had to have my income tax papers filled out by a tax accountant first. I was shocked. My husband got on the phone with Robert and he said he said the same thing all along. If we knew that we would have contacted the IRS for the papers that were long gone. They insinuated they were taking care of all our tax needs from the start.

I contacted the IRS and have 2 days to fill out 5 years of tax returns. They said these companies make you think they're helping you but they are really making money off your financial misery and making it worse. IRS sais we kknow your afraid and people prey off that and its best to call the IRS. Amen. My husband was also told not to contact the IRS. Now Deutch is refusing to pay the $500 deposit for a $3.00 folder which was sent back to them.
