Complete loan scam

I am so glad that I'm not alone in this... I can't tell you how upset I was at myself for sending these people $1200, when I was trying to get a small loan of $3000.

My experience was back in August, and I just now discovered complaint. I was approved by a supervisor named April Kennedy. I spoke to April every day for about a week, trying to decide if sending a collateral payment of $800 was the best choice for me. I don't have great credit, so I understood that someone might want an up-front payment to see that I'm serious about improving my credit history. The day that I wired the $800, I spent about 20 minutes on the phone with April, and she assured that they were not a "fly-by-night company, " that they were legitimate, and that at the end of the loan term, my credit score would improve if I made my payments on time. What a great salesperson she was... I felt better about the whole deal after talking to her, and sent the money.

About 4 hours later, Ryan called me, saying that some last-minute taxes came up, and I needed to send an additional $400 (which I didn't really have) to get the funds released to me. April had done such a great job of convincing me that this is a stand-up company, I sent the $400, and of course heard nothing. I've been trying to pick up the pieces ever since.

Please let me know if any new information about these crooks surfaces.
