These people are idiots

We have been battling our son's identity theft since he was 11 years old, he is now 18. Recently we have gotten calls and letters stating they are going to garnish his wages even though these idiots have the wrong middle initial as well as the wrong SS#.
We got one today from Cavalry Portfolio Services for a Sprint bill now. We have been in contact with the local FBI, The Indiana Attorney general's office as well as our local state representative with absolutely NO help. When we contact these places regarding the fact that they have the wrong person, the first thing that they want is our sons SS# of which we refuse.
There are even websites that show my wife I as this imposters parents and they will not change it wihout the fraudulent persons approval!!! Who do I need to contact about clearing this up, and do I have a leg to stand on for a lawsuit for duress, intimidation, harassment as well as defamation of our sons character?
I plan on prosecuting all involved to the fullest extent and would appreciate any help
