Compass Bank
It's legal but is it RIGHT?

Business & Finance

Thank God.

I thought I was the only one who this truly bothered.

The point is not whether their practices are legal. It's a matter of what a person is willing to put up with. I was given the opportunity today to sit and listen to a bunch of rationale about these so called policies everyone is complaining about. I was told they clear largest to smallest because they are concerned about YOU as a customer. They wouldn't want to bounce that mortgage payment (aren't you relieved that you have such a reputable business looking out for YOU??? I know I was). After this conversation I decided exactly where I hit my breaking point. Ok, I am willing to admit maybe I should be more organized. What I am not willing to admit or agree with is that it is OKAY to set up policies designed to nickel and dime your CUSTOMERS. Then once you're caught charging a bunch of fees having your customer sit down and listen to this HOGWASH... Do they think we are stupid???

I don't really care about the fees anymore... What really bothers me is their opinion of their customers. They can keep their fees, I am moving on.

So, has anyone found a better bank?

Let me know.

Thanks.
