FAIRBANKS CAPITAL CORP ripoff: Charging late fees when I'm not late, harassing calls from ignorant people who can't correct the problems Jacksonville, Florida & Salt Lake CITY, Utah

It all started when they purchased my second mortgage from IMC. They took my Dec. 2001 payment and purchased insurance on my home. I explained to them my insurance is paid out of my escrow account on my first mortgage and is current. They where listed legally as a second mortgage holder also.

I have been trying to clear this problem up but no person in this company seems to care. They have been reporting me late since Dec. I have never been late, and they have ruined my credit. These people seem to be completely disorganized.

As for the collection person who has been calling me, he would not listen, was ignorant, couldn't speak proper English, hung up on me everytime I asked for his supervisor or asked for his name.

This company shouldn't be allowed in this business. The sate of NC has 55 complaints against them in the Attorney Generals office and over 50 complaints on this web site Usa Consumer Complaints.com.

Will be # 56. We need to find a good attorney willing to launch a class action suit!!!
