We have a small co in Ohio. Our bill to UA is approx $3000.00 per month. Recently, any time we have any significant claims with them, our billing becomes mysteriously messed up soon after those claims and we get a notice claiming "this is the second notice that your policy is being cancelled" after not recieving any kind of first notice.

We received one of those notices 26 Oct 07 and called UA since we had paid our bill. Thier excuses were as follows: 26 Oct 07

(1) Kathy no longer works in the billing department we need to call Rosylnn.
(2) they have changed the billing department location. (3) they usually put a note in the file and they can't find the note that says they sent us our first bill (even though we allready paid it).
(4) They are having tech problems and can't print in OK city. Will print and send the bill the next day. 30 Oct (5) still can't find proof they sent first bill prior to "your insurance is being cancelled" notice
(6) they are waiting on thier interoffice mail to deliver the check since they changed thier billing department around. 31 Oct 07
(7) They have now posted the check but thier fax is not working so they can't send an updated bill. 2 Nov 07
(8) They now can't seem to figure out just what to apply the payment to since we didn't send a copy of the bill with the check (which we never did before in 2 years). (9) the person who applied the payment stapled it to the wrong bill.
(10) having system errors, will have to handwright bill. (11) having "Excell program" problems will fax new bill by 4:00 P.M. (did not happen) 11 excuses in five days. This company is very scarey.
