Making a $270.00 profit off of a $200.00 loan

I received a 200.00 payday loan from them in Sept. I spoke to a representative on the phone and she told me that I a could do a pay down to pay off the loan instead of doing it all at the same time.

I called three days before the loan was due to come out of my checking acct. And set up these payments. They were supposed to take out the service fee of 60.00 plus 50.00 for the loan each pay period. The service fee was to go down each time because the loan was going down.

They took out one payment for the correct amount. Today is October 30, and they are still taking 45.00 out of my account. When I called (after searching the internet for the number) to see how much was still owed she told me 195.00!! I was shocked. That means that only 5.00 of my balance is paid. I was furious. She then explained that I was supposed to call back before each pay period to set up paydown. This was not what I was told from the start. When I am done with them, I will have paid them 470.00 for a 200.00 loan.

The biggest mistake of my life.
