Bogus Overdraft Fees!

BB & T charged us $105 in nsf fees, ($35 each) claiming our account was overdrawn, funny that the day before a direct deposit from the state of VA was pending, and not credited which would have been more than enough needed to clear the 3 debits...

After speaking with Chandra, we were informed that the $105 would be credited back to our account, but 2 days later, and many unreturned phone calls later, we have yet to see it. On top of that, another $35 fee was assessed, along with another $140 fee that is non descriptive.

Basically, the $250 I authorized, which BB & T allowed to post have ended up costing me $280 in fees!!! As of yet. On top of all that, my husbands payroll account is with the same bank, same branch, and in order for his check to clear, he has to cash it and deposit cash. This still takes 3 days to clear. Big time rip off.

BB & T holds direct deposits, and allows debits to go through, so they can screw you out of $35 per transaction!!!
