Is a ripoff

I received a phone call late one Sunday evening from CapitalFirst. The person told me that I had been pre-approved for a MasterCard with a credit limit of $2500.00. I was told that I had to pay $29.95 up front and not only would I receive my credit card but also all kinds of discount coupons that would save me tons of money. Not making much money and having a child starting to school and working on a pay check from week to week I thought that this was just to good to be true. Well let me tell you, If it sounds to good to be true it IS!!!

I waited over 2 weeks and my packet never arrived. Knowing the US mail I gave it a little more time. After 3 weeks went by and I knew that they had already withdrew the money from my account I called the Company. They were very sorry but also said that I should have received my packett on August 14th. But they would send me another one out and to expect it in yet another 2 weeks. I finally received my packet on August 31 saurday) After reading it I found out what a joke it was, but at that time it was OK because I was only out at that time (I thought) of $29.95).

Of course, The customer service number that they originally told me that was available 24/7 was not, and it was a holiday weekeng, but that was OK too because I had 7 days to cancel. I called the Company on September 3, the first business day after the holiday. I told them that after receiveing the packet and finding out that everything that they originaly told be was nothing but decieptful and fraudulant to cancel it and not to take another penny out of my account. Well, needless to say, Every week I call the automatic teller at my bank just to check balances and to see what has cleared and low and behold on September 3 (the same day I called and told them that I wanted to cancel they took anohter $99.95 out of my account.

I called them again. They have a lot of nerve answering their phone now don't they. Do U want to know what they said to me? After them telling me the dates that all this money was withdrawn from my account by them. They say the only way that they will refund my money is if I send them proof of the withdrawls from my bank and return the packet (I'm sure so that they can mail it to some other sucker and not have to spend any more money to print up more). I asked them to give me their fax number and that I would have my bank fax them the information immediatly. They refused. Help. After September 11th we would think that all of us would stand together. PLEASE call the FBI, I did ater reading everyone elses story and knowing my own. LET"S ALL STAND TOGETHER AGAINST FRAUD!!!
