Charging me more than 7,000 dollars for what they claim was an insurance lapse

Homeq service inc claimed i was behind two mortgage payments and threatend to forclose if i didn't pay 3,000 dollars up front. My mortgage amound was 1,200.00 so i was puzzled why they were asking for three thousand. They claim that they had included the first payment for a penalty of 7,000 dollars for an insurance lapse of 2 months. So my mortgage went from 1,200.00 to 1,900.00 for twelve months!
