Not falling for this scam-sandra williams financial

Heads up to you financial hardship internet users out there. I put an ad on Craigslist asking for financial assistance because of my poor credit. I was desperate and needed help.

Well it took awhile, but I got a response from a Mrs. Sandra Williams. We have only communicated by email. Her first email said she was from Sandra Financial Institution. The email was full of gramatical errors and could tell this person may be from another country. Well, I gave a little information (not enough for her to harm me) to see what she would offer. Well..

She offered me the $2500.00 I requested with 5% interest - 2x on 2 seperate emails with 2 different monthly payments. But, she then asked for a bank account to wire the money and said the banks charge a COT (Commission of Transfer) that would have to be paid in the amount of $240.00 and she said she would take care of half as long as I take care of the other half.

Well this just happened today, I responded (just to see her answer-knowing full well it is a scam) and asked if the $ would come out of the proceeds and also asked where she was located and how I can contact her by phone.

I will not fall for this scam ever again, but am trying to find out more information about her so I can report her to authorities. I think she lives in the Tampa Metro Area.
