Startup Essentials
This is a Scam Company

I signed up with Startup Essentials in April as I thought they were a business opportunity company.in so doing, I was asked if I wanted to include a laptop computer that is programmed with all the audio tapes. I did so. I asked the price which was $186.00. I received the 3-ring binder about two weeks later that was followed by an Acer computer. I didn't use the computer, but completed the work pages in the binder. Several weeks later I received my credit card statement with the $186 from Bond Corp. I didn't think that was unusual until the next month when I noticed the same entry in my bank account. That has gone on until now. I visited my bank to inquire about the entries and talker with a representative from Bond Corp. She said that was the leasing of the computer. When I returned home I called her again stating that I hadn't used the computer and I have the box and all materials. I wanted to send it back. She said I couldn't do that as they only leased them out. I have tried to call the customer support at Startup Essentials and receive only a recording to try again.

This morning I read Judy's entry for the same company who ripped her off too. I sympathized with her in that they would at least refund her something. I have contacted my bank and they suggested that I try to talk to Startup Essentials, but I can't reach them.in calculating the cost of the computer it runs about $6,000 and at the end of the lease, you are free to "buy" it. What a scam! If anyone has any suggestions in how to deal with this company, I would be glad to listen to them.in the meantime, I guess I'll have to pay for something that doesn't even pay me one cent.
