Commodities Buying Made Simple And Cheap Is Anything But

In his persuasive solicitation letter, James Davis promises that for the $150-plus he wants for his plan, he'll show you how you can immediately start with around $300 to invest in the commodities futures markets and make hundreds of thousands of dollars within as little as a month.

First, the commodites textbook he sends states explicitly and firmly that commodities futures buying requires long acquaintanceship for anyone in these risky markets. Secondly, to open a margin account at the vast majority of commodities brokerages requires at least $2,000 minimum, NOT the $300 he repeatedly uses in his solicitation letter to make you think is all you'll need to start making your investments.

Even if, burdened with this knowledge, I still wanted to go into commodites markets, Davis' textbook, "How To Make Money In Commodity Futures" wouldn't be a book I'd rely on for no other reason than that it's so poorly written. He drops terms of art without really defining them well for what they're supposed to mean, and his progress from chapter to chapter is choppy, incoherent.

Don't make the mistake I did. Forget this nonsense.
