Scammers and Theives

We were contacted by Devon Alli a representative for Prime Innovations, LLC. The company was located in GA. He came and gave us the scam on the credit cardcheck machines and we were promised multiple items. We were told the charlotte representative had been fired so he was in our area filling in (from GA). After his whole speil, I told my partner I was not signing anything. He filled out the paper workbecause he was told he could cancel the "service". We were told we would get a check and a credit card machine, merchant services, and arch (?) drafts every month for $75.00.

Before he was to return to bring the machines, I contacted him 3-4 times to find out his cellual was not answering. He droped the machines off and the nightmare started. Within 3 weeks our bank account was depleated by $137.60 for varios charges. After having the bank serch the charges, I found we were being debited by a company from Texas called Retiever (Who were the only decent ones in this mess) and CIT Financial.

The funny thing is that we never gave anyone our bank account #. Mr. Devon Alli Stole It! He said he needed it to set up our machine when infact he gave it to a second and thired party to use as the wished. I got all the charges back from Retreiver. They were po'ed. They did not want someone fraudulently representing their company. They tried numeral times to contact Mr. Alli and make him pick up the machines. They had no luck either. Before 2 weeks, Prime Innovations Closed Down. There was not method of contacting them - all phones were shut off!

I then looked for a contact for CIT. I told them they could not take money from our account because we never gave them a canceled check. They refused to send me a copy of a check I had supposidly sent them. I told them the disdurbing process with Devon Alli, Prime Innovations. They refused to look him up and said they have no control over people who sell their leases. How in the world is this possible. If you are paying someone for a job aren't you responsible for them as some kind of employment?

Well, in the end I was yelled at by several of CIT customer service agent and never given any answers except you signed a lease. I am looking for a class action suite against someone - CIT, Prime Innovations.in 2005 I did see something to this effect on Ripoff Repot. How can a company lease a machine for 4 time the market value and the you only have the option to buy it if you pay 10% of lease terms and amonth lease amount which they call "fair market value". Also how cant they steal your checking account info. Also, I saw a rebuttal from a CIT agent. She said someone always calls to verify the lease and terms. No one ever called us and I had to search to find out who they were after they showed up on my checking account. What a mess!!!
