Repossesed Truck AFTER they had received payment

We had purchased a new Dodge Ram truck in 2005.in late 2006 I had lost a job due to the company I had worked for for 8 years goiing bankrupt. I contacted all creditors and maintained contact with them over the course of the next 12 months.

Fifth Third was the most difficult to deal with. 1st you could never get anyone that could speak english to help you it seemed everyone we talked to was from india.

We have been fighting to not file bankrupt and have almost turned the corner with all creditors. We were 45 days late on a payment and had mailed in full payment 8 days ago to the branch addressed on this complaint... Guess what They repossesed our truck tonight without any right to cure letter being sent out. (Missouri law requires this before they can reposses)

We immediately called our bank and are hoping to stop payment on the check we sent them a week ago. Now we are being forced to go file bankruptcy tomorrw so as to get vehicle back and to stop the repossession. If we dont go this route then we will end up getting stuck with crazy fees and uncollected money if they sell the vehicle for less than is owed.

Now I have to get ont the phone and fight with them tomorrow...

I have dealt with many banks over the years and this company is crazy. After reading all the complaints on here about this bank why cant an attorney take these guys on. I sure hope a class action suit comes down I would gladly stand up and be heard!
