Cheating there employees

American Mortgage Specialists are a bunch of rip off artists. They not only rip off there customers but they also screw over there employees.

I worked for them for 6 months and I saw some stuff that I was not proud of. While working there I personally was responsible for convincing multiple people to give me there personal information and charging them a $49.95 application fee even though I knew there was nothing I could do for them just to meet the required number of applications for the week in order to keep my job.

After working for them for two months the GM came to me and said that he wanted to give me a promotion, but he said I needed to show him that I really wanted it, so I would stay and work off the cock to help out my coworkers to show him that I was dedicated and it took me another two and a half months to finally get my promotion. And then on top of it after getting my "promotion" I was supposed to get a raise and never received it.

Also I was supposed to receive bonuses for each loan that I got an application on and i never saw them. I put up with these working conditions for six months because i was naive and i thought they would change but they never did. So i finally started to talk to other people that i knew in the Mortgage Industry and they started to tell me all kinds of stories about the company that i was working for.

So after hearing all of these stories i finally decided to ask my manager about what i had heard, and all of a sudden i was out on my ass for conflict of interest due to the fact that i knew other people that were competition with AMS. So i started to poke around and i found out what was going on. If you work for there national call center the likely hood of ever getting paid your commission is slim to none weighing more towards the none side. What they do is they have another company that funds the loan as to not pay there employees any commission.

I know that some people would say that i am just upset because i was let go, and at first i had thought about getting on this site and posting a long nasty review of the company but did not because i did not want to do it out of spite, that is why i am now posting this about four and a half months after the fact so that no one can say i am being irrational. The truth is that i had my name on over three hundred loans in the six months that i worked there and not one of those three hundred loans ever funded, to my knowledge, and on top of it I never even received my final bonus check because i was let go the day before i was supposed to receive that check. The branch manager of the location, TOM BURON is a complete and utter jerk.

If you ever get contacted by this company to work for them or due a loan through them run the other way as fast as possible.
