Deceptive Program, Fraudelent Loan, Avoided Calls and Stole My Money! Ripoff Travis

While exploring mortgages for my new (relocation) home and existing home, I came across amerisave co. After carefully reading over all their programs, I called their 800 number to begin my loan process.

I was warmly greeted by Travis Van Eldik, he answered all my questions and told me everything I wanted to hear, structured my loans the way I wanted them, ensured me my closing date and told me I had to pay $395.00 and $395.00 for each loan appraisal, which I paid after careful speculation and confirmation that my money would be returned to me should my loans be denied or if there were any problems (as long as the appraisals were not done).

Within the hour, my visa debt card was charged $780.00, Travis quickly called me to say my appraisals were scheduled and my loan docs were prepared which outlined all we had talked about. Travis then called me and said he needed the docs signed and returned right away. I told Travis we needed to to go over them but would sign and send them back in the AM.

I then found a form included in the docs which were for us to sign stating that the $395.00 fees were for locking in the rates and not really the appraisals at all. After seeing this I tried to contact Travis and he avoided phone calls, e-mails and never responded to messages I left him.

Two days later, I received a call from my realtor stating Travis had canc. The appraisals. Still unable to contact Travis, the loan processor or Travises supervisor, I decided to call in to amerisave as a new customer and low and behold, Travis picked up the phone.
He was speechless!

This run around continued and resulted in denial of my mortgages and partial refund of my money which I cont to followup on to this date. Keep in mind that we are a couple with 700 or higher credit scores. He tried to convince me of doing the mortgages in every other way then what we originally requested or wanted.

This all resulted in us going elsewhere and delayed our move which resulted in numerous consequences. Stay away from this company!
