Homecomings Financial
Crippled us financially by reporting my husband deceased when we paid off mortgage

We fortunately did not pick homecomings as our mortgage company. We were sold to them 1 month after we moved in. Due to unforeseen financial troubles we got behind and entered into a 12 month capitalization/modification agreement from nov. 2004 to oct. at which time they were to do the capitalization and refigure our mortgage payment. They did not do the capitalization until march. They could not even provide me with a monthly amount to pay.
The 5 months they took to drag this out cost me thousands. Our mortgage amount was $10,000 more after paying on it for 4 years than when we originally took it out.
We have since refinanced, thank god, and i was so relieved not to have to deal with them, until we went to finance an auto loan and was told that my husband, who sitting next to me, was deceased. The credit bureaus picked up on this and wiped out his beacon score. So i am back to dealing with unscrupulous, rude, obnoxious people to have them fix their mistake.
