Fraud! Reporting I owe on a paid in full CC Reporting it as an Installment Account ripoff

This company is reporting on my credit file that I owe them a couple thousand dollars on a JCPenny's CC account that I closed and paid in full in 2001. (Was a joint account with my Ex-husband) He has never heard anything from them. These people are commiting fraud.

Funny thing is (The card they are reporting they claim it to be a installement account) FRAUD! Adding interest an penilities too. Is also reporting on my credit file as an account with a zero balance, closed by me and paid in full!

I reported this info and it was repoved from exifax and transunion, but they verified it with Equifax. I sent the a debt validation letter over 30 days ago. Never heard back.

Sent this all to Experian as well (Copies of their signature on the return receipt) Nothing changed. However Experian did add a seven year fraud allert on my account (Without a police report which I found strange) But its still being reported.

Equifax reported to me that is was proven to be a fraudulant account (and removed) However it was being reported to them as a collection account. But to Experian and Installment account! This item should be removed from my account 12!

I'll be keeping a very close eye on this one. I smell a RAT! I reported them to the BBB and they never responded?
