Ripoff Bogus Debt and Fishing in the Dark

RJM Acquisitions is trying to collect on a debt that I have never made. They state that I owe Fingerhut on an account with a date of December 15,1995 with a balance of $617.68. I state that I have no knowledge of this debt. After research on usacomplaints.com's website, I find out that this is a despicable company with a common practice of fabricating bogus debts from distant times. This "fishing in the dark" practice needs to be addressed by authorities and stoppped. When will our Local, State and Federal governments at least investigate industries meant to prey on innocent consumers
