Homecomings Financial
In the process of being screwed ripoff

Business & Finance

We entered into a payment agreement and made 11 of 12 timely payments. We called cust service and advised them our 12th payment would be 10 days late. They told us that was fine but no later. We made the payment through Western Union on that date and come to find out they defaulted the agreement 1 day earlier. Next we are now placed in a temporary agreement and make 3 payments completed May 20. Now the account is sent to modification to set up a new payment schedule to include new lawyers charges and late fees because they defaulted our original agreement. After no less than 8 phone calls we cannot get the modification. Every time we call a new person is working on it.in the interim, we receive a letter stating we owe $13,000 and just send a check to clear this up. Our credit report shows we have been late every month for 18 months because they report late every month while making timely payments. Cannot get out of the loan because no one will re-fi because the loan isn't current.
