A hold on a cash deposit that was done before cut off time Ripoff

I have had it with Wachovia. I am tired of them placing holds on cash deposits. Then they try and tell me it is legal for them to do so. I know most things have gone to cards, but when I am told that I may make my deposit by 4 pm in the ATM and it will be processed that night, I expect that. For some reason Wachovia seems to think cash is no good and will not clear their bank. Then they want to take almost $112.00 of a $500.00 deposit. I work 7 days a week and 365 days a year with my job, as a carrier. That is way to much time for them to be taking my hard earned money.

Now let me also point out that one of my jobs does a direct deposit from a Wachovia bank in Savannah. I guess their money will not be honored as well. See they have placed holds on those as well. It is coming from their own bank to another of their banks, just from a business account to a personal account. I can tell you this much, I wish I had listened to other people when they warned me about Wachovia. I have learned a few thousand dollars in lessons.

It is also funny that one person in their office can say one thing and then they do something different and say it is legal. I guess it is their way of making sure you place your money in their bank, so they can place holds and keep hard working people's money. Cash is cash and is and has always been good. I can even understand if a check had been in with the deposit, but just cash. Sorry got to come up with a better excuse for me than, it is within our legal rights to hold your cash deposit.
