Grant Outlet
Obvious scam and identity theft scheme ripoff

Business & Finance

A few days ago, I received a "check" in the mail from Metavante Corporation, for the amount of $4,975.00, signed by a "Jim Welch" from Grant Outlet. I was immediately suspicious and put it aside until I had time to look up this corporation or whatever it is, on usacomplaints.com.Com. There was a misspelling in the letter underneath the check, which raised my suspicions higher.

Thank you for the reports filed on this company, if you can call it that. I suspected it was an identity theft scam. I will be turning the letter over to authorities because it is against the law to use the U.S. Postal Services for mail or identity theft. I'd rip it up, but I think the authorities would want to see this.

Thanks again for all the reports filed on usacomplaints.com.
