Clout Visa
Webbanc outrageous demands from the collection agency, where's clout visa?

Business & Finance

When I turned 18 I received a Clout Visa Credit card in the mail, which I never signed or stated that I wanted the card. Since I had just started college I activated the card for assistance at the time. I did make payments, but the paper billing eventually stopped, therefore I did not know when or how much went into collection. Three years after it has already been charged off of my credit, I am now being sued for an outrageous amount that I can not afford. I'm being forced to settle and pay this large sum to avoid bringing this to court, but I feel that I have been cheated. I researched online and found that there are many other cases that are similar to mine. The initial credit card company is no where to be found and It seems that no one else has been able to contact them either. Why should I pay an outrageous debt that I didn't create to a company that no longer exists? I would appreciate any and all help that you could provide. Please look into this company for I feel that they have and are still cheating people, especially young people that do not know any better.
