Predatory lending for lowe's credit cards!

My Lowe's credit card was recently converted to a GE Money Bank Platinum Visa. While I appreciated the credit limit increase from $1500 to $7500, I didn't appreciate the inflated APR for purchases of 19.24%! When I called GE Money to question why my bill didn't reflect the 12-months same-as-cash, no payments/no interest promotion for recent purchases, I was told that promo is no longer available.in addition, she was not willing to negotiate a reduction in the APR!
I have already begun the process of transferring the balance to another creditor for 6.99% APR and would suggest others revolt against such predatory lending.
No one should have to pay such high APRs, especially when they have an impeccable payment history.
