Payday loan companyunited processing (?) payday loan please help

Last fall I took out a payday loan. They started screwing up my due dates and tried to debit my account on earlier dates. This happen over a period of a month. Of course this was like a domino effect on my bank account and I had numerous NFS's. I eventually had to close the account.

Now 6 months later I am getting these very harrasing calls from men who barely speak english. They threaten that they are going to have me arrested for fraud and even internet fraud (?). I have asked to make payment arrangement, they scream at me that they are not in the business of charity and they want all their money or that I will be arrested at my place of work, and after that I will surely lose my job. I am sick and scared to death. I sit at my desk everyday afraid that someone is going to come to my work or home and arrest me in front of my daughter or co-workers.

I have did a reverse search of the number they call me from - its never an 800 number always area code either 732 or 714. They all sound the same and tell me they are "lead" investigators on my case and that I am in so much trouble that no one can help me now. They are threatening to talk to my boss, which I work in a very small office and this would be detrimental to my position.

Like I said, I offered an arrangement, but they will not even accept it and its almost like they yell at me. Can I be arrested? Does anyone have any advise? I can't even get the name of this company from them when I call-they just answer "How can I help you?" when I ask the name, they hang up. To tell you the truth this loan was done over the internet, I really don't even know the full name of this company, this is just the name they use when they leave messages with my co-works - "United Processing". Any help or advise you can give would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for taking the time to read my mess.
