Chase Credit Cards
They must be another enron in the making

We accepted a mail solicited offer for 0% on balance transfers from Chase. We have had Mortgage loans with them in the past, always on time and paid the loans off early.

When the cards arrived, much to our personal embarrasment, we found a credit line of only $3000. (our combined credit score is in the 730's and debt ratio is below 35%). We had requested transfers for $5100 and they decided which ones and how much to each of the accounts would be transferred.

Okay, upset but accepted it for what it was. Then the late fee charges started. After making payments for 6 months, typically 2 weeks early, the late payment charges began. (further thought here, citi is now doing the same thing). They say they did not recieve payments before due date, we pay electronically so proof that they did recieve promptly is easily obtained. They don't care! They will NOT admit their mistakes, they will NOT correct their mistakes... What will be next? Refusing payments altogether?

We have given the information to our attorneys to handle. Thank goodness we have them! They have taken on several of the merchants listed on consumer complaintss and have come out on top for the consumer each and every time!
